Organized by

Based in Washington, D.C., the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group, is a multilateral organization founded in 1985 to promote the development of the private sector in its member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, with special emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As part of our mission, we help companies streamline management processes and provide them with financing in the form of loans, equity investments, and guarantees. We also offer advisory and training services through our FINPYME program. Over the last 30 years, we have approved more than 920 operations with SMEs and financial intermediaries, worth a total of US$5.63 billion. We have also directly benefited almost 10,000 SMEs with our advisory services and knowledge products and mobilized an additional US$3.7 billion through co-financing operations and syndication agreements.
